Agility and flexibility, combined with sound engineering assurance and operational experience, enables JFD to provide fully comprehensive technical support services as required to maintain the availability of high integrity sub-sea equipment.

SQEP Resource

The Engineering Support Cell comprises entirely of dedicated internal resource, drawn from a variety of disciplines including: experienced Project Managers, graduate Design Engineers and Naval Architects, qualified ROV/SRV Pilots and Operators, and specialist electrical, mechanical and hydraulic Technicians. For each, the sub-sea environment is their speciality.

Right people, right place

Today, JFD employs over 125 staff; each of them suitably qualified, uniquely skilled and highly experienced in the sub-sea environment. From five bases around the world, JFD supports, operates and maintains a diverse selection of sub-sea assets for a variety of international customers.

Our local operations teams in Australia, Singapore, Sweden and the UK are backed-up by a central Engineering Support Cell which exists to provide rapid technical support, advice and expertise whatever the time of day.

 

Assurance Management Rigour

JFD’s support organisation is reinforced through comprehensive processes, procedures and management controls overseen by our Assurance Department. JFD’s Engineering Management System ensures items such as Safety Management, Risk & Hazard Management, Configuration Control and Technical Assurance are part of our everyday culture.

Full capability delivery, technical support, operations and maintenance for the Australian Submarine Rescue System, operating at 12 hours’ notice-to-move and 95% availability. 

Full capability delivery, technical support, operations and maintenance for the Singapore Submarine Rescue System, operating at 2 hours’ notice-to-move during high-alert periods and 95% availability.
