Black Carillon 2018

JFD participated in the successful exercise Black Carillon 2018, partnered with the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) to conduct the annual “Black Carillon” exercise which tests Australia’s submarine rescue system in a series of scenarios designed to replicate a real-life submarine rescue emergency.

Black Carillon 2017

JFD participated in the successful exercise Black Carillon 2017, together with the Royal Australian Navy.

The exercise tested and demonstrated the Australian submarine rescue capability under realistic conditions. Since 2008 JFD has provided the RAN with the Australian submarine rescue system; the James Fisher Submarine Rescue Service (JFSRS). Demonstrating submarine escape and rescue capability is a requirement of the RAN’s submarine safety program.

COBRA

Medical monitoring solution for Saturation Diving and Hyperbaric Chambers.
The DMAS HyperSAT is available from NHC.   From within the chamber, D-MAS HyperSat measures the diver’s vital signs. This information can be transmitted from inside the chamber wirelessly to a specialist doctor onshore, who provides expert medical advice in real-time.
