JFD’s Aberdeen-based National Hyperbaric Centre, has successfully delivered their inaugural Client Representative course in Durban South Africa.

Client rep course South Africa - page image1.jpgThe course was presented by Tim Chesshire of NHC, Aberdeen at Subtech group’s facility in Durban from the 11th to the 15th of July 2016. This was the first course of its kind in the region and NHC is delighted to have developed a closer partnership with Subtech Group and believes their facility is the ideal location to run their courses.

A Client Representative acts as the client's eyes and ears during the offshore phase of a project and is the client's prime method of monitoring the site from the point of view of safety and efficiency. The course provides delegates with a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of a recognized Client Representative. The course provides a comprehensive overview of offshore legislation and the common issues affecting offshore construction, diving and maritime operations. It also provides an understanding of global and regional variances.

JFD is planning to schedule regular training courses through its National Hyperbaric Centre (NHC) in South Africa, following an agreement with Subtech Group. A South Africa timetable for the second half of 2016 is currently being developed and will be made available shortly.  Course offerings will include: ROV Auditing and Assurance ALST Client Representative Dive System Auditing and Assurance
