JFD welcomes new Diving Technical Authority

JFD, the world-leading subsea operations and manufacturing company and a part of James Fisher and Sons plc, has welcomed Graeme M Mackie as Diving Technical Authority at their National Hyperbaric Centre in Aberdeen.

Graeme has over 28 years’ experience within the diving, ROV and construction industries, most recently as Vessels Operations Manager for Ceona. He started his career as an Air Diver for Technip and soon worked his way up, working in various Operations and Project Manager roles for several large contractors and oil majors.

Graeme will now be overseeing the company’s commercial consulting department ensuring that JFD operates at the highest levels of technical compliance during client projects and within its internal systems at National Hyperbaric Centre.  

JFD is an established global provider of specialised consulting and training services to the diving and subsea industries both onshore and offshore. JFD provides Client Representatives, Dive System and ROV System Auditors as well as Diving Technical Expertise to clients around the world and has secured and maintained many major contracts over the past few years.
