JFD leads the way in industry with first of its kind technical showcase event

JFD are delighted to be leading the way in industry having successfully delivered the first of its kind Technical Showcase in collaboration with the AFRC (Advanced Forming Research Centre) earlier this week.
The two day extravaganza took on the 19th & 20th March and saw technical gurus coming together to engage in a prestigious “show and tell” event providing a platform to inform delegates of the core capabilities residing across both organisations as well as giving them the opportunity to explore synergies and potential future collaborations. This novel approach to first engagements was embraced by both communities and hailed as a resounding success by all parties.
Dr Lynne O’Hare, Commercial Director at the University of Strathclyde’s Advanced Forming Research Centre, commented:
“The technical showcase event held with JFD Global was a best practice example of how two organisations can kick-start an innovation relationship. It was a great pleasure to meet and spend time with the JFD team, and to hear about the exciting products and services the company delivers to their global client base. I’m excited going forward to see our two organisations work collaboratively, and to explore how advanced manufacturing technology can help the JFD business.”
Danny Gray, Operations Director at JFD Global, commented:
“We pride ourselves not only on our engineering prowess at JFD but in our forward-thinking approach to driving best practice engineering in our company as well as the wider industry. This showcase was the first of its kind event for both organisations and delivered on our objective to provide our technical leaders with a forum in which they could learn, share and explore the range of technical capabilities that co-exist with a view to identifying synergies & potential future collaborations across our respective areas of expertise as well as exploiting best practice to drive engineering excellence.”
We are delighted this event was a real success, which saw delegates leave inspired and enthused about our bright futures. Well done to all at JFD who participated and made this event possible. A fantastic effort indeed!
