MOSHIP-based rescue capability with flexible deck integration.
JFD’s Integrated Rapid Response Bell is designed for seamless deployment from a MOSHIP (Mother Ship), enabling a low local Time to First Rescue (TTFR) without compromising the vessel’s ability to perform secondary missions.
Rated to 5 bar internally and compliant with Lloyd’s Register standards, the bell provides pressurised rescue capability while reducing the need for complex umbilicals. This makes it ideal for integrated shipboard use while also preserving air transportability in emergencies.
Further Information
- MOSHIP Integration - The system is fully configurable to fit within side hangars or flexible deck layouts, preserving prime deck space for other operational needs.
- Low Umbilical Requirements - Only power and comms are required, reducing drag and handling complexity while avoiding complications linked to onboard battery transport.
- Pressurised Rescue Capability - Supports safe recovery of distressed submariners at up to 300m depth with full life support onboard.
- Emergency-Ready Design - The bell can be removed from the MOSHIP for air transport when needed—enhancing mission adaptability.
